Posted on 21st December 2015

Wiltshire is gearing up to see in 2016 in style with a number of events planned for this New Year’s Eve.

Residents and visitors enjoying a break in the county will no doubt enjoy the traditional fireworks at Longleat Estate, a favourite way for families to celebrate in the area.

If you haven’t made plans for the big night, why not make a trip of it? There are several conveniently located cottages to rent in Wiltshire so you can stay close to the New Year’s action.

Couples looking to dance the night away may prefer the vibrant atmosphere at Altar Club’s NYE Party. Featuring live music and DJ sets until 2am, as well as a pop bar, guests heading to this event at Salisbury Art Centre won’t be disappointed.

Fancy a glamourous start to 2016? Try Melksham Assembly Hall’s glitzy Vegas-themed casino night, which offers high rollers a chance to win big prizes as the clock strikes midnight. Viva Las Vegas!

However you choose to enjoy New Year’s Eve, it seems Wiltshire is pulling out all the stops to make 2015’s a memorable one.
