Hartley Farm in Winsley in Wiltshire has been crowned as the Best Local Meat producer at the Bath Good Food Awards.
The awards ceremony, which took place over the weekend, is voted for by the people of Bath and is judged by local and national food experts. It is aimed at celebrating the best restaurants in the area as well as the producers that provide the finest ingredients.
This year Hartley Farm won the Best Local Meat producer award for the second year in a row and this achievement is set to attract even more people to the Winsley-based farm.
So if you are staying in holiday cottages in Wiltshire or are heading on holiday to the county in the near future then a visit to the award-winning Hartley Farm should certainly be on your to-do list.
Speaking to the Wiltshire Times after winning the award, Sarah Bravington, the Farm shop manager, said; “We’re absolutely delighted. This reflects our dedication to rearing and sourcing the very best livestock from our own farm and the local area.”
