Trowbridge Arts Festival success for a second yearPosted on 06th November 2013
Now in its second year, the Trowbridge Arts Festival has brought a real buzz to the streets of the Wiltshire town, with artists and spectators of all ages getting involved in the proceedings.
The Photography Marathon put on by the festival saw submissions displayed for the public and Wiltshire holiday cottage visitors alike to enjoy at Leykers Coffee Central in White Hart Yard. The winner of the photography competition was Oliver Bailey, who is aged just 13.
The Arts Festival looks to celebrate all manner of arts in the county, from theatre and fine art to dance and cinema, and brought in many spectators this year after the success of the 2012 instalment. Taking place throughout September and October, there were plenty of events for both visitors to the area and locals to get involved in, including bell ringing!
Plans for next year’s festival are already underway, with the 2015 events on offer set to be even bigger and better than before.
