Longleat is best large visitor attraction in South WestPosted on 05th February 2014
Longleat Safari Park has been voted as the best large visitor attraction in the South West at the annual South West Tourism Excellence Awards, coming as fantastic news for both the attraction and Wiltshire tourism in general.
Seeing off stiff competition from the likes of the Eden Project in Cornwall, the judges at the awards said that Longleat was given the accolade because ‘every aspect of the attraction was presented well, by a team who are both experts in the field but also looking to ensure a great visit’ for those on their cottage holidays in Wiltshire.
Longleat chairman Ceawlin Thynn was delighted with the accolade, saying that the achievement demonstrates the hard work, commitment and enthusiasm of all the park’s staff.
Home to over 500 animals, it isn’t hard to see why Longleat proves so popular year after year. If you are looking forward to your summer holidays in Wiltshire, why not plan to enjoy a day out at Longleat and discover for yourself why it is an award-winning day attraction?
