The Old Coach House is situated in Nunney's pretty village High Street where the ruins of 14th century, moated Nunney Castle dominate the landscape in the centre of the village. Nunney lies 3 miles south west of the market town of Frome, which has a growing reputation as a centre for arts and crafts, as well as a good theatre and leisure centre. Longleat with its Safari Park is 15 minutes' drive while Stourhead House and Gardens, The Georgian city of Bath, the cathedral cities of Salisbury and Wells, Glastonbury and Cheddar Gorge are all within 45 minutes' drive and the South Dorset coastline about an hour.
The Old Coach House is very much a home from home with a tastefully decorated, spacious and practical interior (excellent kitchen) and an outdoor swimming pool in its very attractive, enclosed walled garden, bordered at the bottom by the Nunney Brook.
