Ground floor: Front entrance. Sitting/TV room with large, stone inglenook fireplace. Drawing room with open fireplace and glazed doors to a conservatory. Rear entrance into a utility/boot room with a separate wc. Large kitchen/breakfast room with oil fired Aga & electric cooker. Dining room with dining table, which can seat up to 12. Games room/garden room with solid oak floor accessed either outside from the garden or, inside, down stairs from the bedroom above it.

First floor: main staircase from front entrance hallway divides into two; left to 2 bedrooms - one double, one twin (children's) bedroom and a bathroom wc. with hand shower attachment to the bath; right up to a landing with large, double master bedroom, luxury ensuite bathroom/wc with cast iron bath, twin wash basins and an extra large shower cubicle. Dressing room with space for a cot. Access from here up 4 steps to the most recent part of the cottage comprising a large twin bedroom, a family bathroom/wc with hand shower attachment to the bath and separate shower cubicle, a further bedroom with king size double and a further twin bedroom. Solid oak staircase leads down to the games room below.

At the northern end of the beautiful Wylye Valley, some 20 miles north west of the cathedral city of Salisbury and south east of Georgian Bath is the small, peaceful hamlet of Tytherington, a cluster of stone houses and cottages, of which this is one, and an 11th century church, surrounded by rolling farmland.

There are a large number of visitor attractions within easy driving distance - Longleat with its Safari Park and numerous leisure attractions - Stonehenge, Stourhead House and Gardens, Wilton House and the South Dorset Heritage coastline. Locally, there is a good 18 hole golf course and riding at The White Horse Trekking Centre. The cottage itself is surrounded by an acre of garden ideal for children to play in while, inside, there is an integral indoor games room with table tennis and a piano.

Dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries with a recent extension to the rear, Tytherington Green combines all the charm and character of an ancient cottage - exposed beams and inglenook fireplaces - with the conveniences of modern living - good kitchen appliances and top quality bathroom fittings.
