| At the northern end of the beautiful Wylye Valley, some 20 miles north west of the cathedral city of Salisbury and south east of Georgian Bath is the small, peaceful hamlet of Tytherington, a cluster of stone houses and cottages, of which this is one, and an 11th century church, surrounded by rolling farmland.
There are a large number of visitor attractions within easy driving distance - Longleat with its Safari Park and numerous leisure attractions - Stonehenge, Stourhead House and Gardens, Wilton House and the South Dorset Heritage coastline. Locally, there is a good 18 hole golf course and riding at The White Horse Trekking Centre. The cottage itself is surrounded by an acre of garden ideal for children to play in while, inside, there is an integral indoor games room with table tennis and a piano.
Dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries with a recent extension to the rear, Tytherington Green combines all the charm and character of an ancient cottage - exposed beams and inglenook fireplaces - with the conveniences of modern living - good kitchen appliances and top quality bathroom fittings. With 6 bedrooms and ample living space it provides an ideal opportunity for several families or a larger group of friends to get together.
