First Festive Fair for SalisburyPosted on 18th November 2013
Salisbury’s Guildhall is to host its first ever festive Food & Craft Fair this December in a move to boost the city’s festive spirit.
The 21st and 22nd December will see the Guildhall taken over by more than 30 stalls selling Christmas food and gifts. The fair, along with the Christmas lights switch-on taking place next week and other festive activities in the city, is due to attract visitors staying in Wiltshire holiday cottages this Christmas, as well as local residents.
The fair will be free to the public and run from 11am until 4pm each day. The Salisbury City Council business manager said of the event in this article, “The Guildhall provides a perfect festive setting for such an event. We have a fantastic array of vendors and we look forward to welcoming them”.
What with the Christmas Market at Guildhall Square and all the other events held around the city this festive period, Wiltshire is sure to be awash with Christmas cheer and entertainment this year.
