Standing in the garden of the owner's cottage, the small annexe
to Bramble Cottage offers a very attractive and well appointed
pied a terre for a couple wishing to explore this unspoilt part
of Southern England, right on the borders of South Wiltshire
and Dorset. The surrounding area is rich in visitor attractions
- the Saxon hilltop town of Shaftesbury, the ruins of Wardour
Castle (English Heritage), Stourhead Gardens (National Trust),
Stonehenge, the cathedral cities of Bath and Salisbury.....
the list is endless. Donhead St Andrew itself is a well kept
village with many older stone and thatched cottages and an excellent
pub, 'The Foresters Inn'.
Architect designed, the annexe has been created from a former
outbuilding some 50 yards away from the main cottage therefore
affording a good degree of privacy to its guests. The interior
is to a very high specification throughout.

Comments from visitors to Bramble Cottage.
"....wanted to let you know that this was a wonderful place to stay
at. The accommodation was great, the grounds and scenery were beautiful
and the location from Shaftesbury and other surrounding areas was very
good. The owners were very friendly and accommodating and made sure we
were well provided for. We would highly recommend this location for
others."
