People staying in Wiltshire holiday cottages in May can see the start of the race from Wilton on 10th May.

Although Team Wiggins, who are a newly formed squad of young British riders, have been confirmed as participants, it has not yet been revealed whether the founder of the team, Sir Bradley Wiggins, will compete.

So far organisers have announced that over 120 professional cyclists will take part in the race, which will make ten laps of Wilton and go through the streets of Salisbury before finishing at the top of Fovant Hill.

Speaking to the Salisbury Journal, Jane Scott, the leader of Wiltshire Council, said, “I’m sure lots of people will be thrilled to see the riders compete and I know many have also taken up the challenge on May 9th to cycle one of our Sportive rides. The whole weekend promises to be exciting, active and a lot of fun.”
