Bradford Roots Festival to be a hit in WiltshirePosted on 10th January 2014
Returning for its second year, the Bradford Roots Festival looks set to be equally as popular as last year’s instalment. This weekend of the 11th and 12th January will see Bradford on Avon come alive with the sound of music as musicians of all ages and genres come together in one eclectic music festival.
The festival is to host four different stages at the Wiltshire Music Centre, easily reachable from self-catering Wiltshire holiday cottages in the area, and welcomes all ages as it celebrates the diversity of the local music scene. Music genres to be performed look set to include folk, jazz, blues, indie, rock and classical, to name just a few.
There are to be plenty of activities for visitors to enjoy, including children’s activities as well as workshops, folk dancing and local produce showcases. Visitors aren’t to go thirsty either, with plenty of specially brewed festival ales and mulled wine on sale. Opening at 11am on Saturday 11th January, more information can be found on the festival at wiltshiremusic.org.uk.
